The $160,000 job creation and development incentive was approved based on the local impact the business is expected to meet or exceed over the next 10 years.
According to Dumas Economic Corporation Executive Director Mike Running, Written Pole Motors Corporation, a subsidiary of Precise Power Holdings Corporation, will have seven to 10 employees in Dumas as soon as possible with the goal being to have a presence in Dumas by the end of February.
Written Pole Motors has a plan in place to ultimately expand its Dumas manufacturing facility, assuming all goes well, to around 200 employees.
Written Pole Motors manufactures single phase motors as well as electric motors of various horsepower and they are trying to market commercially a new 3-phase electric motor.
